Nelson Digger Hire is owned and operated by Jeff Rooney, based at Hira, northeast of Nelson. Jeff has been in the construction and transport industry for more than twenty years, and the business is set up so one operator sees a job through rather than handing it between crews. He runs his own digger, tipper truck, auger and attachments, which means materials can come in and waste can go out on the same visit instead of being organised separately. The work spans rural, residential, farming and lifestyle properties, and no job is treated as too small.
